It is estimated that there are about 300 million Orthodox Christians in the world today. Most of these live in Russia, Ukraine, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, and the Middle East. About three million live in the United States, with the heaviest concentrations residing in Alaska, New York/New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
