Yes… cell phones and texting are never allowed in the church. In fact, you should make it your policy to always turn your cell phone off whenever you enter the church. If you have a professional reason to carry a phone for emergencies or must do so as part of your profession, please keep it on mute and sit near the exit so that leaving for an emergency call will not be a distraction to others. Otherwise, all cell phones should be turned off during services.
