Ease and idleness are the destruction of the soul and they can injure her more than the demons.

Self-knowledge is a true idea of one's spiritual growth, and an unbroken remembrance of one's slightest sins.

That is to say, make the most of your time for getting heavenly blessings through earthly goods. Earthly goods are good works done for Christ's sake and conferring on us the grace of the All-Holy Spirit.

It is a sin to spend time idly.
