Blessed stillness gives birth to blessed children: self-control, love and pure prayer.

The hour of death will come upon us, it will come, and we shall not escape it. May the prince of this world and of the air (cf. Love of God proceeds from conversing with him; this conversation of prayer comes about through stillness, and stillness comes with the stripping away of the self.
