By sheer happenstance, Zacchaeus climbed a sycamore tree seeking a better vantage point to catch a glimpse of Christ who was passing that way yet gained a whole new perspective on life as our Lord stopped to talk to him and ask to dine with him. Jesus didn’t see a “tax-collector,” but a man; someone full of potential, goodness, and love. Therefore, this life-altering moment changed Zacchaeus, and brought salvation to him and his entire family.
