As Orthodox Christians, we should never dare place our faith in anything other than our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Playing with Ouija Boards, Tarot Cards, or going to fortune tellers and psychics – even if done simply in jest – is contrary to the teachings of the Orthodox Christian Faith and could prove harmful to your spiritual growth and well-being. Prohibitions to this can be found in the Old Testament Book of Deuteronomy 18:10-12, as well as throughout the Canons of the Church.
