Service And Outreach Committee Delivers Food To Those In Need

Archangel Michael Orthodox Church’s Centennial Service and Outreach Committee recently organized an effort to bring food to the hungry. On Monday, February 21, 2022, a group of volunteers gathered together in the church basement and prepared meals. Later that evening, these meals were served at Saint Herman House–an Orthodox Christian house of hospitality. Its mission is to shelter and support homeless men on the path to well-being and independence and meet the basic needs of people in the Cleveland community.

Each month, volunteers from Archangel Michael will prepare, deliver and serve a dinner at St. Herman House. This special effort is being organized as part of celebrations marking our one hundredth year. Please consider helping out as we are committed to the third Monday of the month. If interested in helping, please contact Kathy Kovalak, Chair of the Service and Outreach Committee, at 440-842-6639.
