Archangel Michael Orthodox Church

Dear Archangel Michael Parish Family,
Glory to Jesus Christ!

Since the Annual Meeting in February, the Parish Board has shared ongoing reflections about parish life, our financial reality, and the opportunities before the parish. We are grateful for the thoughtful engagement, sincere questions, and prayerful support we have received from so many of you.

We are especially thankful for everyone who supports our parish through prayer, service, and stewardship. Your faithful participation helps sustain our shared life and strengthens our witness to the community.

The spirit of our conversations

  • Service Driven – Serving our parish and community with care.
  • Shared Vision – Moving forward together in faith and mission.
  • Transparency – Communicating openly and responsibly.

A clear picture of where we are today

The 2026 budget projected a $71,000 deficit, requiring us to draw from our endowment to sustain operations. Through your generosity, annual giving has already increased by more than $43,000.
This progress is a remarkable example of collective impact. We still have work to do toward long-term sustainability, but this invitation is not rooted in pressure. It is an opportunity to prayerfully consider how we can continue growing together.
Our Future As A Church Family

During the months of February and March, members of our community addressed the parish, sharing a vision for future growth and offering a heartfelt call to action – encouraging us to reflect, examine ourselves honestly, and deepen our commitment to giving.

A Prayerful Invitation

If you feel called to do so, please prayerfully consider increasing your regular stewardship commitment by an amount that is both comfortable and sustainable for your household.
This is not an appeal born from urgency or pressure.
Many small, intentional acts of stewardship create meaningful collective impact. Stewardship is a spiritual practice through which we offer back to God a portion of the blessings He has entrusted to us.

Spiritually intentional

A faithful response to God’s blessings.

Freely and joyfully

An offering given with a willing heart.

According to ability

A commitment that is comfortable and sustainable.

Small increases. Meaningful collective impact.

“Give what you have decided in your heart, not under pressure, because God loves a cheerful giver.”
