SAYING GOODBYE TO OLD FRIENDS
At the beginning of this decade, we welcomed Father Joseph McCartney and his family as our new associate pastor in 2010. He assisted Father John with the parish responsibilities for four years until his transfer to Saints Peter and Paul Church in Lorain in 2015.
In October 2014, Archimandrite Paul was elected by the Holy Synod of Bishops to fill the vacant Episcopal See of Chicago and the Diocese of the Midwest. He was consecrated to the Episcopacy and enthroned as our Bishop in December 2014.
On November 10, 2018, we tragically lost Deacon Dennis and Matushka Helen Lucak who reposed in the Lord.
With the retirement of choir director Ted Geletka, we hired Joachim Wyslutsky, the son of Fr. Nicholas Wyslutsky, as his replacement.
